SRA partners with Positron Systems for Remaining-Life-Assessment Technology

SRA Engineering Services has partnered with Positron Systems, Inc., in commercializing innovative technologies that provide new insights in the nondestructive inspection in India. The focus is on techniques that quantify changes in component material nanostructure induced by operational conditions and surface treatments.

This innovative form of Non destructive inspection follows a novel approach to assess current damage and assists in predicting useful remaining life in many critical components based on the measurement of changes in the crystal lattice structure of the material.

SRA Engineering in SAE 2008 World Congress hosted by DaimlerChrysler

The SAE 2008 World Congress was hosted by Chrysler and chaired by Frank Klegon,
Chrysler's Executive Vice President of Product Development. The theme of this year's event is, "A Climate for Change".

Being an active participant of SAE World congress, SRA Engineering Services took part in the SAE 2008 world Congress between April 14 to 17, 2008 held at Detroit. The event focused on the growing capability of the automotive industry in finding unique and innovative ways to design and develop products. SRA showcased its capability in the areas of CAD, CAM, CAE and other special services.

SRA glitz in SAE 2007 World Congress hosted by Toyota
  April 16 - April 19, 2007
 

The event was capped by the SAE World Congress banquet speaker Katsuaki Watanabe, President, Toyota Motor Corporation. Toyota was the host company of the SAE 2007 World Congress, which was chaired by Yasuhiko Ichihashi, the head of all engineering and manufacturing for Toyota North America.

SRA Engineering Services participated in the SAE 2007 Congress between April 16 to 19, 2007 held at Detroit. SRA's capabilities were well positioned in the expo, which received great accolades from many Manufacturing and Automobile companies. A significant number of potential prospects from various vertical showed keen interest in outsourcing their Engineering process to SRA.

SRA Systems, Sonata and IBM jointly relaunch Proof
 


SRA Systems, Sonata Information Technology Ltd and IBM have jointly re-launched the Proof, which has been moved on to DB2 database, a new version.

Proof is SRA Systems’ pioneering business “Process Outsourcing Framework’ that encapsulates time tested reliable components that operate together with a synergy to make it a comprehensive BPO facilitating tool.

Proof caters to the needs of several fortune 500 clients handling millions of documents and manages the workflow.

Speaking at the launch of the new venture, Arpan Majumdar, Alliance Manager, Sonata, said that the BPO industry has an annual growth of 48 per cent.

He said that manpower, management of resources and cost competitiveness have become a hurdle in the smooth functioning of BPO.

“Proof enables dealing with changing process which can successfully deal with increased number of customers” he said.
